Our last act as a family, before the girls head back to Cape Cod, was to decorate the house for Christmas. There was no fighting or arguing - a true Christmas miracle right there.
The most amazing part of decorating? Stringing lights outside the house while wearing shorts. It's incredibly warm outside.
NaNo is hopelessly behind - I just crossed the 40,000 word mark this morning. But it's 40,000 more words than I'd written at the beginning of the month, so that's a positive thing.
Now it's time to take my girls to the airport. Always so tough. But I have Amy back in a month for Christmas, so that's a good thing.
