Your "thing of the day to get worked up about:"

The IRS, in its infinite wisdom, has proposed new regulations to allow your tax preparer to sell your information to third parties! Yes, under these new regs, if in the process of signing your returns, your tax preparer manages to slip a release past you, he can sell your information - up to your entire return - to credit card companies, mortgage brokers, anyone who's interested in buying. And of course such businesses can be entirely trusted never to have a computer break-in or a dishonest employee who sells your information or just plain turn some extra profit by selling it themselves.

Because identity theft is not a problem in the U.S.

Rest assured, America. You know right where you stand with your federal government.

Bent over, and holding your ankles.
